Are you a Classical Sicilian player and looking for a fresh ideas? Or maybe you are considering adding Sicilian to your Black repertoire? In both cases this Database might be a good fit for you. In my opinion the most dangerous line by far to counter Classical Sicilian is 6.Bg5-move, which quite a difference from other Sicilians, where White has always several dangerous choices for Black. I used to play many different move orders for Black, but I never believed 6...g6 might be a solution, even though I was familiar with this move for many years. The main point is that Black dark-squared bishop becomes so powerful, that it gives Black sufficient compensation with active play in the main line, where White captures on f6 compromising Black pawnstructure. A great variation to check for those, who enjoy playing with fianchetto of dark-squared bishop. As always, my file is very detailed and suitable for every level.
